Editor’s Report - April 2023

The seasons seem to be changing, yet we receive a day said to be one the hottest days in autumn on record, does this mean climate change? Just like any controversial topic such as EV’s, Lithium battery disposal, an influx of very large Pick-Up Trucks from the USA and the poor old Australian Ute has gone only to be replaced by a behemoth of a vehicle. However, we cannot really object as some seem to like bigger and thirstier. Everyone has a preference and we must all respect the choice and voice of the individual.

Our Power Bills will increase exponentially next month, Interest rates will rise again but not to the lofty heights of the 90’s, I remember paying 18% on my mortgage, my children find this incredulous, but we managed. The cost of the Newsletter production is high, we have tried to save costs by producing a B&W edition every second month, have you thought of receiving this online? The reproduction on a monitor is second to none, I send everyone with an email account a Newsletter each month the vast majority view online plus we upload the Newsletter to the website, so your archive is there as well.

By the time you receive this Newsletter the Federal Rally will be over, my intent is to provide you highlights in this edition.
