Editor’s Report - March 2022
As we move forward into March and many prepare for the Federal Rally, we reflect on re-entry to normality. For most of us the past months and years fade quickly as we immerse ourselves back into life, for some this will be a painful memory whilst others will move on quickly and find returning to a busy schedule diminishes the painful memories. For the positive aspect, our club schedule of events, outings and meetings has provided ample opportunity to experience a new normal.
The next few months will provide many events to continue the new normal. I want to make a comment on some historical activities of the club, I went back into the archives of the website and found some really interesting articles aptly called “Crewe’d Jottings” I spent an afternoon and evening last weekend reading many of these articles, the camaraderie and knowledge that exists in our club is phenomenal.
I was especially inspired by family involvement in projects, many of these members are still very active in the club, I will be tapping some of these folks for sharing their knowledge through articles in ensuing newsletters.
The new style newsletter has received much praise and we will continue to evolve content and move forward, please also review the website as this is transitioning as well. We have received feedback on what they want to see in format and content and we will endeavour to move forward in accommodating most of these ideas.
Happy motoring and safe travels.
