President’s Report - February 2024

As we embark on a new year filled with the promise of exciting adventures, it is with great pleasure that I welcome each and every one of you to another remarkable year in our illustrious history. The Rolls- Royce Owner’s Club has always been a beacon of elegance, camaraderie, and a celebration of the timeless craftsmanship embodied by our cherished vehicles. In the coming months, we anticipate a calendar brimming with exclusive events, captivating drives, and interesting meetings that will undoubtedly deepen the bonds of our club and our wonderful community.

Already we have enjoyed another splendid summer picnic at the now iconic Iron Bark Station and a fantastic turn out of club members and their cars at Cruden Farm for the Festival of Motoring. A wonderful display of over 30 club cars accompanied by club members and guests was certainly one of the highlights of the day which saw around 800 – 900 vintage, veteran and classic vehicles on show amongst the gardens at Cruden Farm.

February promises to continue to delight, kicking off with the first of our Technical Section gatherings at LGSI on Sunday 4th. Do mark in your calendars our general meeting when we will be sharing an evening with Scotchman’s Hill Winery and no doubt will have the opportunity to be tempted by some of their wonderful vintages. The ever popular British and European Car Show at Yarra Glen Racecourse and a Midweek Run to Glengarry Hotel packs the calendar with lots of choices.

As we embark on another year, as guardians of the legacy of excellence, let us continue to uphold the traditions that make our club truly exceptional. May this year be marked by shared experiences, cherished memories, and a continued passion for the extraordinary.
