PEAK EVENT OF THE YEAR

Our club consists of a wonderful cosmopolitan and inclusive group welcoming people of all ages and diverse backgrounds with a common interest in Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, history and the supreme engineering of the marque.

Our annual Concours provides an opportunity to, in a social environment, display our motor cars, compare them with others and also inspect some rare and beautiful motor cars that are rarely used or often hidden away in storage.

The Concours offers classes for all Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars and provides an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas of improving and presentation of our cars with the aim of preserving this amazing marque. Some members are hesitant to enter their motor car thinking that it may not be good enough, however it is not all about winning a trophy, but celebrating the provenance of our magnificent motor cars

Most owners have an association with various motor car service providers; however, it is fun and easy to personally prepare your car for Concours display and judging. Begin by washing and waxing the paint, be sure to use clean micro fibre cloths. Polish brightwork, apply furniture oil to woodwork of older cars, water damp micro fibre cloth to glossy surfaces, clean glass, clean and nourish leather, vacuum interior and boot where applicable. Remove road grime and oil seepages from undercarriage and engine bay. If this is too arduous engage a friend to assist or cook the obligatory BBQ.

We hope to see a record-breaking list of fifty cars to enter this year’s Concours (remember there is a class to suit every model.)
