Editor’s Report - September 2023

Spring has come and it’s time to enjoy those beautiful spring days and take a drive in your favourite PMC, also consider preparing for the upcoming Concours, please see Diary for details, in this edition there are two compelling articles to bolster your enthusiasm to enter. We look forward to a very strong entry this year, feel free to reach out to any of the writers or prior entrants to see what is required.

I was reading an article about an intrepid Australian who hired an EV in Italy and unfortunately, he spent most of his holiday searching for chargers! Many of us still have some trepidation about purchasing and EV in Australia and traveling Interstate, the distances we travel on interstate trips makes the fear of not finding the next charging station a reality, however we are seeing a change in strategy amongst the big Fuel providers, and they are now ramping up fast charging across their network. I am looking forward to seeing the first Spectre arrive at our clubrooms in the future.
